4th of july

the 4th of july is one of my favorite holidays! i went to the parade in provo with my family then to the booths for some shopping and the classic navajo taco. brady went to the lake with his family while i was in provo then that night we went to the stadium of fire with drapers.

lake powell

its been forever since i updated my blog! i know i have been a slacker. the lack of internet connection at my house makes it alot harder to stay caught up. but we have had an enjoyable summer so far and i will hit the highlights. the best highlight of every summer is lake powell and the first weekend in june we went. and like always it was beautiful! it truly is a wonderful place to relax and i enjoy it every time. but this time was a little different. i had something horrible and spent the majority of my time in the bathroom and on the couch. i think its the first time ive come back from a powell trip actually losing weight! i usually gain a few with all the snacks! i still had a great time and cant wait to go again!

memorial day

for memorial day my family went out across utah lake to ride 4 wheelers and shoot guns. it had rained all morning so it was kindof muddy and it was a little windy but we still had alot of fun! cade and cami loved their little 4 wheelers and mom and dad even rode for a while. brady took cami and i on a wild ride and she loved it so much, she kept saying woohoo until he hit a big jump and she hit her chin on my arm coming down. but she still wanted to ride after that, she would cry if you would go without her. i hope my kids love riding like shes does!

new lawn!

im sure all of you remember our beloved 170lb diesel who destroyed our lawn last year. well after half the summer and only half the lawn left we decided to till it up and put in a new one. the other day i looked outside and trip had taken his blanket out to lay on! i guess he was trying to give us the hint that he didnt like not having a lawn. ha ha well good for him, brady and i layed new sod last week and it is nice to once again have a pretty back yard! (dont mind the picture of trip through the dog nose smudged window)

OFF TO THE RACES

brady finally got his new bike! he sold his bikes to buy my wedding ring and after 2 years of trying to convince me to trade in my ring for a new bike he got the hint and just bought one. last weekend he had a race in delta. it was nice out but super windy so they ended the races after the first round. we had alot of fun though and i look forward to going to the next one!

as you all know we had to put tough down the other day....sad day for brady and i. here are some pictures we had of him and brady. we had alot of fun with him!
