skiing!

saturday all the draper family went skiing at deer valley. almost everyone was able to come and it was so fun to see all the little kids ski! i have never skiied before but deer valley doesnt allow snowboarding so i learned how to ski. and i loved it! brady went up early that morning and i met up with everyone later that afternoon. thanks to brady and dave (sorry dave about the crash!) i think im really going to love it and cant wait to go again!

presidents day

brady and i had presidents day off so we went and played in the snow with casey, kyle, duff and kace. we went up by mayflower where someone had built some jumps and they (not me. im chicken.) took turns jumping and flipping. it was nice to take the dogs out and let them run. one time brady walked up to the top of the hill and trip followed him all the way up and all the way down! he even jumed off the jump right behind brady! i didnt see him jump because i was taking a picture but duff said it was pretty funny!

my dogs

i saw a post on lesas blog about her dogs and i really liked it so im going to do a post on mine. while i was watching marley & me (which i loved) i thought about my dogs. those of you who know us know we have had quite the bout with dogs. i am pretty happy with the ones we have now and hope they are here to stay. they are great friends and great protectors. they are very territorial and i always feel safe with them around. dogs truly are mans best friend.

good times

its been a while since ive made a post (due to my workplace periodically blocking sites) but things have been really good for us. the holidays are always busy but they are a fun time. we have enjoyed spending time with family and friends and except for pushing snow all chrismas afternoon and evening we had a wonderful holiday season!

the saturday after christmas we went to my cousin julias wedding. it was a beautiful (COLD) day and the luncheon and reception were really great.
new years eve we spent the evening with tolberts and nicolls at heathers cute little homey cabin next to La Caille. we had dinner at Hoppers then went to the cabin and watched 199 Lives and then played some mad Guitar Hero. new years day we got up bright and early to keep the tradition of rabbit hunting in delta, or "bunny blasting" as brady calls it. there werent as many rabbits as last year but it was still fun. p.s. i was at all of these events, i just never end up in any of the pictures!

holidays

this year we spent thanksgiving at my families house. we had a wonderful day with LOTS of yummy food! i love this day! i am very thankful.

at 4 am friday brady and i went to provo to shop with all the crazy black friday people. the lines were amazingly long but we had a good time and got everything we wanted.

later that afternoon we went and cut down our christmas tree. i grew up with fake trees so i really enjoy hiking in the snow and picking out my own tree. it was really funny to decorate this tree because it is so skinny that we had to put all the lights and ornaments near the center or else the branches would sag and everything would fall off! we had a good laugh. looks a little charlie brown dont you think?
