This post is long overdue! heres a little catch up of our lives the past year...

This is a new part of Bradys wardrobe.....

brady finished his fire1, fire2 and emt courses and got on the wasatch county fire department. he is a volunteer for now and is on call. he really enjoys it and doesnt seem to mind running each time he gets a page. hopefully hell be able to get on full time someday.

Because of This.....

after a long 2 years we are expecting our first little one! theres only 2 months left and i really cant complain. besides the nausea and heartburn the first 3 months i have had a pretty good pregnancy, it really hasnt slowed me down too much. its fun to feel her moving around inside but i cant wait to have her out here to enjoy. we are excited for the changes this new little life will bring!

This is no longer part of my keychain.... brady and i canceled our gym passes for the summer. there is so much going on we just dont get over there enough. it was kindof sad to cancel but because we did i get to enjoy this....

i have been taking the dogs out to the north fields and walking since i dont have a gym pass anymore. i am really loving being outside and enojoying the beautiful fields. its also been great for the dogs. they need it as much as i do!

This is the corner where the dogs used to sleep....

this is kindof a big deal for me, but the dogs have moved out! since we have had dogs they have always come inside to sleep. they used to sleep here in this corner by the back door and i dont know if they are more sad to not come in or me! its kindof comforting to have them inside at night and this morning the kitchen looked awfully empty. but it was also SO NICE not to have to clean up the hair before i went to work. they are big and dirty and belong outside. (i am still convincing myself of that!)

This is brady and i in St George.... we have been able to go to st george with our good friends the bonners a few times this spring. we always have a good time and i hope there are more good times to come!

that is all i have time to post for now but i will try to do better at keeping things updated!

powell

the highlight of summer for me is lake powell. i absolutley love going to lake powell and thanks to duff and amy we have been able to go every year! this year it was really windy and kindof cool so i was a baby and didnt surf or wakeboard. i kindof regret it now but had a really great time relaxing.

clark county fair

summer has gone so fast and i have been a huge slacker at blogging! to kick it off we went down to the Clark County Fair. drake showed his pig and did awesome! he won 2 ribbons. it was fun to watch him tap that pig with his cane. i had never seen that before. we also got to watch sierra clog. i didnt get any good pictures because we were too far away but she was really cute. while we were there we also got to watch steve and his dad rope in the rodeo. we love the fair and got to ride a few rides and eat alot of food. minus bradys speeding ticket (97 in a 75!) we had a great weekend!

memorial day

3 day weekends are always enjoyable and this one will be one that we will always remember. to start it off we bought a horse! we split the price half and half with val and are so excited to have a horse in wallsburg again! she needs a little work with the bit but overall she is really gentle and i think were going to enjoy her alot. but even more exciting - early monday morning tracie had her babies! everything went pretty well and i am so excited to have another neice and nephew! theres something about twins that is just so intriguing and im excited to watch them grow!

we made it!

tuesday was our 3 year anniversary! brady had fire class that night from 6-10 so i left work early and we went to an early dinner at red lobster, one of our favorites! seeing alot of people around me struggling with their marriages and seeing how many peoples marriages dont even last 3 years i feel pretty lucky. its been a great 3 years and according to bradys card he gave me he "doesnt understand why people say marriage is hard cause its been easy for him" im glad i could make it easy for him! i love him lots and i feel lucky to be married to him!

supercross

saturday brady and i went to the supercross in salt lake city with some friends. we usually go to vegas every year but this year there was one is slc so we went to that one instead. it was cold and rainy but we had a great time anyway. thanks to our good friend greg we had awesome seats! we were right in the middle on row 14 but the first 4 or 5 rows were blocked off so we were way close! it was an awesome race and i cant wait to watch the vegas race this saturday! go reed!

skiing!

saturday all the draper family went skiing at deer valley. almost everyone was able to come and it was so fun to see all the little kids ski! i have never skiied before but deer valley doesnt allow snowboarding so i learned how to ski. and i loved it! brady went up early that morning and i met up with everyone later that afternoon. thanks to brady and dave (sorry dave about the crash!) i think im really going to love it and cant wait to go again!
